Fire Retardance Methods and Materials for Phase Change Materials: Performance, Integration Methods, and Applications—A Literature Review

چکیده
Thermal control methods based on phase change materials have a wide range of applications, from thermal management to latent heat storage for renewable energy systems, with intermittent availability. Organic PCMs some advantages over inorganics; however, their major drawback is flammability. In critical such as buildings, electric vehicles, and aerospace flammability an issue that must be addressed in order comply safety standards. This review paper covers current studies assessing the PCM response fire or excessive temperature, ensuring flame retardancy, impact key characteristics: transition temperature range, heat, transfer rate, compatibility other system materials. A special focus set preparation effectiveness flame-retardance achievement method. Some research gaps further directions are identified discussed.

Male Wistar rats (200-300 g) were anesthetized by intraperitoneal injection of sodium pentobarbital (90 mg.kg). The hearts were rapidly removed and placed in a cold (4°C) oxygenated Bicarbonate-buffered solution (in mM): NaCl 125; KCl 5; MgSO4 2; KH2PO4 2; NaHCO3 25; glucose 10. They were cannulated through the aorta on a Langendorff column and retrogradely perfused at a constant flow and at 37...
